Turkmen Democratic Movement

Turkmen Democratic Movement is a political party in Iraq that is headed by Kalkhi Najmaddin Noureddin. It plays as an opposition to the main Iraqi Turkmen party, the Iraqi Turkmen Front. The party was created by ex-Front members in 2004, who believe the interferience of Turkey in its affairs was not helping the community.^[1] It supports the annexation of Kirkuk to the Iraqi Kurdistan region. The party currently has 3 seats in the Kurdistan National Assembly.^[2]
